NAME
xmms - versatile X audio player that looks like Winamp
SYNOPSIS
xmms [-efhmnprsvu] [--enqueue] [--fwd] [--help] [--show-main-window] [--session] [--play] [--rew] [--stop] [--version] [--pause] [files]
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the xmms command. It was written to be a basic manual, with no additions - just the syntax manual. It is also probably outdated.
XMMS is X11 audio MPEG player which has mpg123 engine and looks almost the same as famous Winamp (it was previously known as x11amp, too). It supports streaming MP3s AKA shoutcast, and includes some neat features like the spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, skins and playlist.
