NAME

pp-install - install databases on a PalmPilot

SYNOPSIS

pp-install [-u USERNAME] [FILES...]

DESCRIPTION

This program installs databases onto a PalmPilot, by spooling it for later processing by the PalmPython "Install" conduit. If no files are specified, it pops up a GUI file selector (you must have the python-tk package installed for this to work); otherwise, it simply copies the named files (which must be PalmPilot databases) into the PalmPython data directory for later reference.

OPTIONS

-u USERNAME

User name to use when installing, instead of the default specified PalmPython's configuration files. The requested user must exist (see pp-userconfig(1) for more information).
