NAME
htdigest - manipulate MD5 password files for the Apache server
SYNOPSYS
htdigest [ -c ] passwordfile realm username
DESCRIPTION
htdigest creates or changes MD5 password entries in a specified realm for a given username in an Apache passwordfile. The names and passwords stored in this file can then be used for authentication when accessing protected areas of a Web server tree.
OPTIONS
