# zzip\_dir\_stat(3)

get meta infornation on a zipped element.

## NAME

zzip\_dir\_stat, zzip\_file\_stat, zzip\_fstat -     get meta infornation on a zipped element.

## DESCRIPTION

 The *zzip\_dir\_stat* function obtains information about a filename in an opened zip-archive without opening that file first. Mostly used to obtain the uncompressed size of a file inside a zip-archive. see *zzip\_dir\_open*.

 The *zzip\_file\_stat* function will obtain information about a opened file \_within\_ a zip-archive. The file is supposed to be open (otherwise -1 is returned). The st\_size stat-member contains the uncompressed size. The optional d\_name is never set here.

 The *zzip\_fstat* function will obtain information about a opened file which may be either real/zipped. The file is supposed to be open (otherwise -1 is returned). The st\_size stat-member contains the uncompressed size. The optional d\_name is never set here. For a real file, we do set the d\_csize := st\_size and d\_compr := 0 for meaningful defaults.
