zone-file-check - Checks DNS zone files for syntactic errors

## SYNOPSIS

**zone-file-check** \[*FILE*\]...

## DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the **zone-file-check** command. This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.

**zone-file-check** checks DNS zone files one by one for syntactic errors. Lines containing errors are printed together with the file name and line number to the standard output.

## OPTIONS

The program takes one or more filenames as arguments and reads the standard input if none are supplied.
