## NAME

zmq\_msg\_data - retrieve pointer to message content

## SYNOPSIS

**void \*zmq\_msg\_data (zmq\_msg\_t** *\*msg***);**

## DESCRIPTION

The *zmq\_msg\_data()* function shall return a pointer to the message content of the message object referenced by *msg*.

**Caution**\

Never access *zmq\_msg\_t* members directly, instead always use the *zmq\_msg* family of functions.

## RETURN VALUE

Upon successful completion, *zmq\_msg\_data()* shall return a pointer to the message content.
