Y recorder information utility

## NAME

yrecinfo - Y recorder information utility

## SYNTAX

**yrecinfo** \[*options*\]

## DESCRIPTION

yrecinfo is a utility for displaying information about a Y server. It is used to examine the capabilities of a server. Displays information such as preset Audio modes, current Audio settings, Sound cycle load and other statistics.

## OPTIONS

- **--modes**

  Prints list of available preset Audio modes on the Y server.

- **--recorder** \<*address*:*port*\>

  Specify which Y server to connect to.

- **--help**

  Print help screen and exit.

## RETURN VALUE

- **0**

  Success.

- **1**

  General error.

- **2**

  Cannot connect to Y server error.

- **3**

  Systems error.

## ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES

- **RECORDER**

  Specifies the Y server \<*address*:*port*\> to connect to. This is a fall back if the argument **--recorder** is not specified.

## EXAMPLES

To print basic information about a Y server, type:

\# yrecinfo

To print all information including preset Audio modes type:

\# yrecinfo --modes
