xshipwars - Dynamic space-oriented gaming system

## SYNOPSIS

**xshipwars** \[url\] \[options\]

## DESCRIPTION

XShipWars is a highly customisable and dynamic space-oriented gaming  system designed for play on the net. You create your own universes  and build your own vessels with a huge array of customisable settings. Graphics/video/sound themes for XShipWars are created by many talented  professional artists.

## OPTIONS

- **\[url\]**

  URL to the universe that you want to connect to.

- **\[options\]** can be any of the following:

  - **--rcfile** *\[file\]*, **-f** *\[file\]*

    Load configuration from \<file\>.

  - **--control** *\[type\]*, **-c** *\[type\]*

    Specify which controller to use: keyboard, joystick

  - **--help**

    Prints a help screen and exits.

  - **--version**

    Print version information.

Command line options override any options in the configuration file.

*~/.xshipwars-universes*, *~/.xshipwarsrc*, */etc/xshipwarsp/universes*, */etc/xshipwars/xshipwarsrc*
