xshipwars game server.

## NAME

xshipwars-server - xshipwars game server.

## SYNOPSIS

**xshipwars-server** \[config\_file\] \[options\]

## DESCRIPTION

Xshipwars-server is a game server to be used in conjunction with  xshipwars. It allows extremely large universes to be hosted for  great multi-player action.

## OPTIONS

- **\[config\_file\]**

  If it is not specified then the program will attempt to load  /etc/xshipwars/swserv.conf  This file must exist for proper operation.

- **\[options\]** can be any of the following:

  - **-unvin** *unvinfile*

    Universe file to read from.

  - **-unvout** *unvoutfile*

    Universe file to write to.

  - **-opm** *opmfile*

    Object parameter macros file.

  - **-ocs** *ocsfile*

    Object create scripts file.

  - **-p** *portnum*

    Port number.

  - **-q**

    Run in \`quiet mode'.

  - **--foreground**

    Run in foreground, do not fork into background.

  - **--help**

    Print a help screen and exit.

  - **--version**

    Print version information.

**Note**: Command line options override any options in the \[config\_file\].
