## NAME

xsh\_wavecal - Compute arclines tilt and instrument resolution

## SYNOPSIS

esorex **xsh\_wavecal** \[OPTIONS\] FILE.sof

## DESCRIPTION

This recipe detects and follow arc lines in a fully illuminated slit frame.

Input Frames:\
   Raw frame (Tag = ARC\_SLIT\_arm)\
Arc Line List (Tag = ARC\_LINE\_LIST\_arm)\
   Master Bias (Tag = MASTER\_BIAS\_arm)\
   \[OPTIONAL\] Master Dark (Tag = MASTER\_DARK\_arm)\
   Order Table (Tag = ORDER\_TABLE\_EDGES\_arm)\
   \[poly mode\] Wave Solution (Tag = WAVE\_TAB\_2D\_arm)\
   \[poly mode\] Theoretical Map (Tag = THEO\_TAB\_spec\_arm, spec=SING/IFU)\
   \[physical model mode\] Model cfg tab (Tag = XSH\_MOD\_CFG\_TAB\_arm)\
   \- \[OPTIONAL\] A non-linear badpixel map (Tag = BP\_MAP\_NL\_arm)\
   \- \[OPTIONAL\] A reference badpixel map (Tag = BP\_MAP\_RP\_arm)\
\[OPTIONAL-To compute spectral resolution\] Dispersion Table Frame (Tag = DISP\_TAB\_arm) Prepare PRE structures.

Subtract the master Dark (UVB, VIS and NIR) Substract the master Bias (UVB and VIS) Divide by Flat.

Detect and follow arc lines.

Products:\
    Wavelength solution, PRO.CATG = WAVE\_TAB\_ARC\_SLIT\_arm \[if poly mode\]\
    Linetilt list, PRO.CATG = TILT\_TAB\_SLIT\_arm\
    Residuals table, PRO.CATG = RESID\_TAB\_GOOD\_LINES\_arm\
    Wave Map, PRO.CATG = WAVE\_MAP\_arm \[if model-wavemap-compute=TRUE\]\
In case of IFU mode cdata previous producs repat for each IFU slices\
Arc frame, Bias subtracted in PRE format, PRO.CATG = ARC\_BIAS\_SUBTRACT\_arm\
    If arm=UVB/VIS and PRO.CATG=ARC\_NIR\_ON if arm=NIR\
    Arc frame, Bias subtracted, FLAT-FIELDED, PRO.CATG = WAVECAL\_FLATFIELDED\_arm
