## NAME

xgospel - an Internet Go client

## SYNOPSIS

**xgospel** *\[options\]*

## DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the **xgospel** command.  This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.

## OPTIONS

**xgospel** supports all normal X options and also:

- **-user** *name*

  Specify you userid on IGS.

- **-password** *secret*

  Specify your password on IGS.

- **-host,-site** *site*

  Specify the site to connect to.  With the current version of xgospel, it is really only useful to connect to IGS, because it doesn't properly understand the protocol used by other go servers such as NNGS.

- **-port** *port*

  Specify the port to connect to.

- **-debugfile** *file*

  Log interaction with IGS to file.

- **-debugfun** *number*

  Set program debugging flags.

- **-debug**

  Turn on internal widget debugging.
