## NAME

xeukleides - an interactive Euclidean geometry system.

## SYNOPSIS

**xeukleides** \[ -v \| -h \]\
 **xeukleides** \[ *filename* \]\
 **xeukleides** -V *filename*

## DESCRIPTION

The language *Eukleides* provides simple and powerful commands for creating elementary Euclidean geometry figures.  The X-Window program **xeukleides** is a complete system for editing and viewing figures described with this language. It includes a snapshot function, which allows to replace the start values of the interactive variables by their new values.

### Options

- **-v**

  Print version number.

- **-h**

  Print immediate help.

- **-V**

  Start xeukleides in viewing mode.

## NOTE

Swapping between description and figure can be done by using the \`View' menu or by pressing the escape key. The snapshot function is available in the \`View' menu or by pressing the F1 key.
