# wimax\_dev\_rm(9)

Unregister an existing WiMAX device

## NAME

wimax\_dev\_rm - Unregister an existing WiMAX device

## SYNOPSIS

**void wimax\_dev\_rm(struct wimax\_dev \*** *wimax\_dev***);**

## ARGUMENTS

*wimax\_dev*

WiMAX device descriptor

## DESCRIPTION

Unregisters a WiMAX device previously registered for use with **wimax\_add\_rm**.

IMPORTANT! Must call before calling **unregister\_netdev**.

After this function returns, you will not get any more user space control requests (via netlink or debugfs) and thus to wimax\_dev-\>ops.

Reentrancy control is ensured by setting the state to **\_\_WIMAX\_ST\_QUIESCING**. rfkill operations coming through wimax\_\*rfkill\*() will be stopped by the quiescing state; ops coming from the rfkill subsystem will be stopped by the support being removed by **wimax\_rfkill\_rm**.
