## NAME

wavp - play a wave audio file

## SYNOPSYS

**wavp** \[ *filename* \]

## DESCRIPTION

**wavp** will play a  *PCM* encoded wav file via */dev/dsp.* all that is required as a parameter is  *filename* which is the name of the file to be played.  Without arguments  **wavp** will output a short message describing its usage.
