## NAME

waffle\_enum, waffle\_enum\_to\_string - Utilities for waffle enums

## SYNOPSIS

```
#include <waffle.h>
enum waffle_enum {...};
```

**const char\* waffle\_enum\_to\_string(int32\_t** *e***);**

## DESCRIPTION

**waffle\_enum\_to\_string()**

Convert an **waffle\_enum** token to a string. For example, convert **WAFFLE\_DONT\_CARE** to "WAFFLE\_DONT\_CARE". Return null if the token is not a valid **waffle\_enum**.

This function always sets the error code to **WAFFLE\_NO\_ERROR**. It can be called before waffle has been successfully initialized with [**waffle\_init**(3)](/waffle_init/3.md)
