preprocess Verilog source files

## NAME

vpp - preprocess Verilog source files

## SYNOPSIS

**vpp** \[*OPTION*\]... *FILE*

## DESCRIPTION

Preprocess FILE, the Verilog source file, and produce the result on standard output.

- \+*DIRECTORY*+...+

  Search DIRECTORY for include files.

- **-D**

  Define macro.

- **-E**

  Perform C style preprocessing.

- **-L**

  Output \`line directive.

- **-h**

  Print help message and exit.

- **-q**

  Suppress status message.
