# vmspphot(7)

Apply to IFU or MOS 1D-extracted spectra a flux correction.

## NAME

vmspphot - Apply to IFU or MOS 1D-extracted spectra a flux correction.

## SYNOPSIS

esorex **vmspphot** \[OPTIONS\] FILE.sof

## DESCRIPTION

This recipe can be used to apply a spectro-photometric flux calibration to any number of 1D-extracted spectral frames generated by the recipes vmmosobsstare, vmmosobsjitter, and vmifuscience.

Input files:

  DO category: Type: Explanation: Required:\
   MOS\_SCIENCE\_REDUCED \
or IFU\_SCIENCE\_REDUCED Product Extracted MOS or IFU spectra Y\
   EXTINCT\_TABLE Calib Atmospheric extinction Y\
   MOS\_SPECPHOT\_TABLE\
or IFU\_SPECPHOT\_TABLE Calib Response curve .

Output files:

  DO category: Data type: Explanation:\
   MOS\_SCIENCE\_FLUX\_REDUCED\
or IFU\_SCIENCE\_FLUX\_REDUCED FITS image Flux calibrated objects spectra

## OPTIONS

- **--ApplyResponse** *\<bool\>*

Apply instrument response. (bool; default: True). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is **vimos.Parameters.flux.response** \[default = *True*\].

Note that it is possible to create a configuration file containing these options, along with suitable default values. Please refer to the details provided by the 'esorex --help' command.
