## NAME

**vcfdistance**

## SYNOPSIS

**vcfdistance** \[customtagname\] \< \[vcf file\]

## DESCRIPTION

Adds a tag to each variant record which indicates the distance to the nearest variant. (defaults to BasesToClosestVariant if no custom tag name is given.
