# usb\_printerid(1)

usb\_printerid - prints the ID of the printer on a USB port **usb\_printerid** \[*options*\] /dev/usb/lpNNN **usb\_printerid** prints the identification of the printer on a USB port using the ioctl control **LPIOC\_GET\_DEVICE\_ID**.

Print the USB info before and after downloading the firmware.
