Usage

Overview

This manual page documents briefly the tools86 command. This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution (but may be used by others), because the original program does not have a manual page.

tools86 can operate in two different ways. When called with an object file, tools86 converts it into a GNU a.out object file, suitable for linking with GNU ld. You can only have one segment in the object file. tools86 may also be called with the -E option, in which case it acts as a preprocessor for as86. Please refer to the source code for the exact steps involved in the preprocessing.
