## NAME

timew-cancel - cancel time tracking

## SYNOPSIS

```
timew cancel
```

## DESCRIPTION

If there is an open interval, it is abandoned.

## EXAMPLES

**Cancel with active time tracking**

```
$ timew start
...
$ timew cancel
Canceled active time tracking.
```

This deletes the open interval.

**Cancel with no active time tracking**

```
...
$ timew stop
$ timew cancel
There is no active time tracking.
```

Cancel has no effect, only a warning is printed.
