TAO Basic Telecom Log Service

## NAME

tao\_tls\_basic — TAO Basic Telecom Log Service

## SYNOPSIS

**tao\_tls\_basic** \[-ORBoptions \]

## DESCRIPTION

tao\_tls\_basic is an event-unaware implementation of the Telecom Log Service.

The Telecom Log Service specification may be found on the OMG  website at  *(link to URL http://www.omg.org/cgi-bin/doc?telecom/99-05-01)* .

tao\_tls\_basic requires a running **tao\_cos\_naming** and registers with  it as \`BasicLogFactory'.

## OPTIONS

The program follows the usual TAO ORB command line syntax. See  **[TAO\_ORB\_Options(1)](/TAO_ORB_Options/1.md)**.

## BUGS

Currently all Logs records are stored in memory.
