sysconf-rc(8)

pass configuration requests through to sysrc

NAME

sysconf rc – pass configuration requests through to sysrc

SYNOPSIS

sysconf rc [sysrc_argument ...]

DESCRIPTION

The rc target of sysconf(8) is a pure pass-through: rc.conf(5) is sysrc(8)'s domain, and its feature set is a superset of sysconf's, so no option or argument is validated, interpreted, or reordered( ‘--help’ and ‘--version’ included). Every argument except the rc keyword itself is handed to sysrc(8) verbatim.

EXAMPLES

sysconf rc kld_list+=i915kms

SEE ALSO

rc.conf(5), sysconf(8), sysrc(8)

HISTORY

The sysconf utility first appeared in FreeBSD 16.0.
