## NAME

switchbench - Xenomai latency test for task switches

## SYNOPSIS

**switchbench** \[ options \]

## DESCRIPTION

**switchbench** is part of Xenomai. It can be used to test task switch latencies. A suitable Xenomai enabled kernel with the respective module (xeno\_posix) must be installed.

## OPTIONS

**switchbench** accepts the following options:

- **-h**

  enable histogram

- **-p \<period\_us\>**

  timer period

- **-n \<samples\>**

  number of samples to collect

- **-i \<samples\>**

  number of *first* samples to ignore
