statd - Trivial statistics daemon

**statd**

## DESCRIPTION

Statd is a small daemon to be run from inetd. It reports on CPU-usage when asked.

This **statd** daemon runs in every machine to be monitored and has nothing to do with the RPC statd portmapper daemon present in many systems.
