## NAME

shishi\_kdcreq\_sendrecv\_hint - API function

## SYNOPSIS

**#include \<shishi.h\>**

**int shishi\_kdcreq\_sendrecv\_hint(Shishi \*** *handle***, Shishi\_asn1** *kdcreq***, Shishi\_asn1 \*** *kdcrep***, Shishi\_tkts\_hint \*** *hint***);**

## ARGUMENTS

- Shishi \* handle

  Shishi library handle created by **shishi\_init()**.

- Shishi\_asn1 kdcreq

  Input variable with a prepared AS-REQ.

- Shishi\_asn1 \* kdcrep

  Output pointer variable for decoded AS-REP.

- Shishi\_tkts\_hint \* hint

  Input **Shishi\_tkts\_hint** structure with flags.

## DESCRIPTION

Sends a request to KDC, and receives the response. The provided request *kdcreq* and the hints structure *hint*, together determine transmitted data.  On reception the reply is decoded as AS-REP into *kdcrep*.

## RETURN VALUE

Return code is **SHISHI\_OK** on success, **SHISHI\_KDC\_TIMEOUT** on timeouts, **SHISHI\_ASN1\_ERROR** on translation errors, and **SHISHI\_GOT\_KRBERROR** for other corruptions.
