## NAME

shishi\_error\_set\_outputtype - API function

## SYNOPSIS

**#include \<shishi.h\>**

**void shishi\_error\_set\_outputtype(Shishi \*** *handle***, int** *type***);**

## ARGUMENTS

- Shishi \* handle

  shishi handle as allocated by **shishi\_init()**.

- int type

  output type, of enum type **Shishi\_outputtype**.

## DESCRIPTION

Sets the output type (**NULL**, **stderr** or **syslog**) used for information and warning messages.  Intended values are **SHISHI\_OUTPUTTYPE\_NULL**, for no output at all, **SHISHI\_OUTPUTTYPE\_STDERR** for output to the console, and **SHISHI\_OUTPUTTYPE\_SYSLOG** for syslog messaging. The first value covers everything different from the latter two values.
