scripts4ticker - small scripts to dowload headlines for ticker.app

## SYNOPSIS

**scripts4ticker** This manual page documents briefly the **scripts4ticker** scripts. This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page. Instead, it has documentation in the GNU Info format; see below.

**scripts4ticker** are scripts for downloading headlines for the ticker.app dockapp.

## OPTIONS

There are no command line options available.

## SETUP

To enable the scripts, simply put the following in the crontab of the user who wants to run ticker.app:

0 \* \* \* \* /usr/bin/freshmeat.sh \> /dev/null 2\>&1

Then run ticker.app like this:

ticker.app -f ~/.freshmeat
