## ARGUMENTS

*parent*

which port

*type*

SAS\_EDGE\_EXPANDER\_DEVICE or SAS\_FANOUT\_EXPANDER\_DEVICE

## DESCRIPTION

Allocates an SAS remote PHY structure, connected to *parent*.

## RETURN

SAS PHY allocated or **NULL** if the allocation failed.
