RTE\_FLOW\_ITEM\_TYPE\_META

Matches a specified metadata value. On egress, metadata can be set either by mbuf dynamic metadata field with RTE\_MBUF\_DYNFLAG\_TX\_METADATA flag or RTE\_FLOW\_ACTION\_TYPE\_SET\_META. On ingress, RTE\_FLOW\_ACTION\_TYPE\_SET\_META sets metadata for a packet and the metadata will be reported via mbuf metadata dynamic field with RTE\_MBUF\_DYNFLAG\_RX\_METADATA flag. The dynamic mbuf field must be registered in advance by **rte\_flow\_dynf\_metadata\_register()**.
