# rte\_event\_eth\_tx\_adapter\_runtime\_params(3)

## NAME

rte\_event\_eth\_tx\_adapter\_runtime\_params

## SYNOPSIS

`#include <rte_event_eth_tx_adapter.h>`

### Data Fields

uint32\_t **max\_nb\_tx**\
 uint16\_t **flush\_threshold**\
 uint16\_t **rsvd** \[29\]\

## Detailed Description

Adapter runtime configuration parameters

Definition at line **112** of file **rte\_event\_eth\_tx\_adapter.h**.

## Field Documentation

### uint32\_t max\_nb\_tx

The adapter can return early if it has processed at least max\_nb\_tx mbufs. This isn't treated as a requirement; batching may cause the adapter to process more than max\_nb\_tx mbufs.

**rte\_event\_eth\_tx\_adapter\_create()** configures the adapter with default value of max\_nb\_tx. **rte\_event\_eth\_tx\_adapter\_create\_ext()** configures the adapter with user provided value of max\_nb\_tx through **rte\_event\_eth\_tx\_adapter\_conf::max\_nb\_tx** parameter. **rte\_event\_eth\_tx\_adapter\_runtime\_params\_set()** allows to re-configure max\_nb\_tx during runtime (after adding at least one queue)

This is valid for the devices without RTE\_EVENT\_ETH\_TX\_ADAPTER\_CAP\_INTERNAL\_PORT capability.

Definition at line **113** of file **rte\_event\_eth\_tx\_adapter.h**.

### uint16\_t flush\_threshold

the number of service function iteration count to flush buffered packets.

This is valid for the devices without RTE\_EVENT\_ETH\_TX\_ADAPTER\_CAP\_INTERNAL\_PORT capability.

Definition at line **129** of file **rte\_event\_eth\_tx\_adapter.h**.

### uint16\_t rsvd\[29\]

Reserved fields for future expansion
