# rte\_event\_crypto\_adapter\_runtime\_params(3)

## NAME

rte\_event\_crypto\_adapter\_runtime\_params

## SYNOPSIS

`#include <rte_event_crypto_adapter.h>`

### Data Fields

uint32\_t **max\_nb**\
 uint32\_t **rsvd** \[15\]\

## Detailed Description

Adapter runtime configuration parameters

Definition at line **262** of file **rte\_event\_crypto\_adapter.h**.

## Field Documentation

### uint32\_t max\_nb

The adapter can return early if it has processed at least max\_nb crypto ops. This isn't treated as a requirement; batching may cause the adapter to process more than max\_nb crypto ops.

**rte\_event\_crypto\_adapter\_create()** configures the adapter with default value of max\_nb. **rte\_event\_crypto\_adapter\_create\_ext()** configures the adapter with user provided value of max\_nb through **rte\_event\_crypto\_adapter\_conf::max\_nb** parameter. rte\_event\_cryptoadapter\_runtime\_params\_set() allows to re-configure max\_nb during runtime (after adding at least one queue pair)

This is valid for the devices without RTE\_EVENT\_CRYPTO\_ADAPTER\_CAP\_INTERNAL\_PORT\_OP\_FWD or RTE\_EVENT\_CRYPTO\_ADAPTER\_CAP\_INTERNAL\_PORT\_OP\_NEW capability.
