### uint8\_t\* rss\_key

In **rte\_eth\_dev\_rss\_hash\_conf\_get()**, the *rss\_key\_len* should be greater than or equal to the *hash\_key\_size* which get from **rte\_eth\_dev\_info\_get()** API. And the *rss\_key* should contain at least *hash\_key\_size* bytes. If not meet these requirements, the query result is unreliable even if the operation returns success.

In **rte\_eth\_dev\_rss\_hash\_update()** or **rte\_eth\_dev\_configure()**, if *rss\_key* is not NULL, the *rss\_key\_len* indicates the length of the *rss\_key* in bytes and it should be equal to *hash\_key\_size*. If *rss\_key* is NULL, drivers are free to use a random or a default key.
