SYNOPSIS
rpc.bwnfsd [-A] [-d] [-s file] spool_directory
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the rpc.bwnfsd, command. This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because the original program does not have a manual page. Instead, it has documentation in the GNU Info format; see below.
rpc.bwnfsd is an RPC daemon used in conjunction with BWNFS (a client NFS for DOS based PC's). rpc.bwnfsd provides authentication, print spooling, DOS 3.1 locking, DOS 3.1 sharing, GID name mapping, UID name mapping services for BWNFS and associated applications on the PC. rpc.bwnfsd is being used also by Macintosh NFS clients.
The spool_directory must be specified for rpc.bwnfsd to work. It is typically /var/spool/bwnfs.
