Overview
Routed-query is a diagnostic tool used to query remote machine(s) running routed , given as parameter(s), for exported routing informations. Each machine from the list is queried with RIPCMD_REQUEST command, and responds with RIPCMD_RESPONSE UDP packet that contains information about all routes it exports, including their subnet masks and metrics. If the -n parameter is specified, routed-query will not attempt to reverse DNS-resolve exported IP addresses and subnetworks (from /etc/networks).
