NAME

rbsmtp, rsmtp, cbsmtp, rcsmtp, rgsmtp - handle bsmtp batches received via uucp

SYNOPSIS

rbsmtp
rsmtp
cbsmtp
rcsmtp
rgsmtp

DESCRIPTION

This program (with its different names) reads a BSMTP batch received via UUCP, unpacks it and sends it to sendmail(8).

It uncompresses gzip(1) and compress(1) batches by using gunzip(1), uncompresses bzip2(1) batches using bunzip2(1), and it uncompresses freeze(1) batches by using melt(1).

Don't forget to configure your UUCP system to allow the sender sending batches with the above command names. Simply add a line like this to the corresponding system in /etc/uucp/sys:

commands	rmail rnews rbsmtp rsmtp cbsmtp rcsmtp rgsmtp

FILES

/var/log/bsmtp/Log log file
/var/log/bsmtp/Debug debug output
