## NAME

razor.conf - Configuration file for Razor Agents

## DESCRIPTION

`"razor.conf"` is a configuration file read by `"razor-report"`, `"razor-check"` and `"razor-discover"`. The format is "attribute = value" pairs, one pair per line. Lines that begin with \`#' are treated as comments.

## ATTRIBUTES

Following attributes can be specified:\

- razorzone

  Razor clients belong in a Razor Zone and they talk to one of the several servers in their zone. The default zone is `"razor.vipul.net"`. You can specify an alternate zone against this attribute.  eg. razorzone = razor.bar.com\

- listfile

  Razor Clients keep a list of available servers in their zone on a disk file. This file is updated after the closest server discovery protocol, which happens every 7 days. By default, the location of this file is `"~/.razor.lst"`. You can specify an alternate path here.\

- debug

  Prints helpful debug/progress information. \

- rediscovery\_wait

  By default, razor-clients discover the closest host in their zone using a discovery protocol every 7 days. You can change this interval by specifying a new interval (in seconds) against the `"rediscovery_wait"` attribute.\

- turn\_off\_discovery

  Turns off closest host discovery.
