push mail to remote server over SSH with QMTP

NAME

qmtppush - push mail to remote server over SSH with QMTP

SYNOPSIS

qmtppush server user maildir prefix [ sshoptions ]

DESCRIPTION

qmtppush is a small shell script that uses stdinxout to feed contents of a local maildir to qmail-qmtpd running on a remote host, effectively delivering the messages remotely. This connection is cryptographically authenticated and protected by ssh.

I suggest you use an RSA key with an empty password and limited allowed commands for batch mail sending.

REQUIREMENTS

The local host must have maildirserial and serialqmtp (from the serialmail package), and ssh installed. The local host must have a way to store the messages in the maildir. The remote host must have qmail-qmtpd and ssh installed.
