ptknslookup - Perl/Tk Host Lookup Client for X
SYNOPSIS
ptknslookup [host]
DESCRIPTION
ptknslookup is a DNS lookup client, written in Perl/Tk.
It will look up the IP addresses of a given host, or the hostname of a given IP address. If you also have the Net::DNS module for perl (available from CPAN), it can also do MX record lookups on the host.

REQUIREMENTS
ptknslookup requires a fairly up-to-date version of Perl (version 5.002 or better). It also (obviously) requires Perl/Tk. Perl/Tk is available in the Nick-Ing Simmons author directory at CPAN. It is also available as a Debian package. For the extra functionality (MX record lookups), the Net::DNS module is required. This is also available from CPAN (in /by_modules/net/), and it is also available as a Debian package (libnet-dns-perl).
