## DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the  **GNU polyxmass-common** package. This package contains the  essential configuration/chemical data files required for running  the **GNU polyxmass** mass spectrometric software  suite. Users are free to introduce new data in their local  **GNU polyxmass** software setup by abiding to  a number of rules that are described in the manual. For a complete  example of a package that brings new polymer chemistry  definitions, please study the **polyxmass-data**     package.
