# pkpolygonize(1)

program to make vector file from raster image

## NAME

pkpolygonize - program to make vector file from raster image

## SYNOPSIS

FC**pkpolygonize**F\[0\] FC**-i**F\[0\] *input* \[FC**-m**F\[0\] *mask*\] FC**-o**F\[0\] *output* \[*options*\]

## DESCRIPTION

**pkpolygonize** converts a raster to a vector dataset. All pixels in the mask band with a value other than zero will be considered suitable for collection as polygons. Use the same input file as mask to remove the background polygon (recommended).

## OPTIONS

- FC**-i**F\[0\] *filename*, FC**--input**F\[0\] *filename*

  Input image file

- FC**-m**F\[0\] *mask*, FC**--mask**F\[0\] *mask*

All pixels in the mask band with a value other than zero will be considered suitable for collection as polygons. Use input file as mask to remove background polygon!

- FC**-o**F\[0\] *filename*, FC**--output**F\[0\] *filename*

  Output vector file

- FC**-f**F\[0\] *format*, FC**--f**F\[0\] *format*

  Output OGR file format

- FC**-b**F\[0\] *band*, FC**--band**F\[0\] *band*

band index(es) to crop (leave empty if all bands must be retained)

- FC**-n**F\[0\] *fieldname*, FC**--name**F\[0\] *fieldname*

the field name of the output layer

- FC**-nodata**F\[0\] *value*, FC**--nodata**F\[0\] *value*

Disgard this nodata value when creating polygons.

- FC**-v**F\[0\] *level*, FC**--verbose**F\[0\] *level*

  verbose mode if \> 0
