# pkfilterascii(1)

program to filter data in an ASCII file

## NAME

pkfilterascii - program to filter data in an ASCII file

## SYNOPSIS

FC**pkfilterascii**F\[0\] FC**-i**F\[0\] *input* \[FC**-ic**F\[0\] *column*\] \[*options*\] \[*advanced options*\]

## DESCRIPTION

**pkfilterascii** filters the columns defined by the option FC**-ic**F\[0\]. A varietey of filters can be selected from with the option FC**-f**F\[0\]. The kernel size is defined with the option FC**-dz**F\[0\]. Alternatively, you can define your own filter tap values (use the option FC**-tapz**F\[0\] for each tap). In case of spectral filtering, define the full width half max values (FC**-fwhm**F\[0\] value) or spectral response functions in ASCII files (FC**-srf**F\[0\] filename).

## OPTIONS

- FC**-i**F\[0\] *filename*, FC**--input**F\[0\] *filename*

  input ASCII file

- FC**-o**F\[0\] *filename*, FC**--output**F\[0\] *filename*

  Output ASCII file

- FC**-ic**F\[0\] *column*, FC**--inputCols**F\[0\] *column*

input columns (e.g., for three dimensional input data in first three columns use: FC**-ic**F\[0\] *0* FC**-ic**F\[0\] *1* FC**-ic**F\[0\] *2*)

- FC**-f**F\[0\] *filter*, FC**--filter**F\[0\] *filter*

filter function (to be implemented: dwt, dwti,dwt\_cut)

- FC**-dz**F\[0\] *value*, FC**--dz**F\[0\] *value*

filter kernel size in z (band or spectral dimension), must be odd (example: 3). Set dz\>0 if 1-D filter must be used in band domain

- FC**-t**F\[0\], FC**--transpose**F\[0\]

transpose output with samples in rows and wavelengths in cols

- FC**-v**F\[0\] *level*, FC**--verbose**F\[0\] *level*

  verbose

Advanced options
