## NAME

pipsecd - IPsec tunnels

## SYNOPSIS

pipsecd

## DESCRIPTION

**IPsec** is a protocol that allows you to encrypt and authenticate data on a network. **pipsecd** implements the tunnelling part of IPsec.

## FILES

**pipsecd** will read */etc/pipsecd/pipsecd.conf* to get its configuration parameters. See the file */usr/share/doc/pipsecd/README.gz* for its syntax.

The file */etc/pipsecd/configure* will be run each time an interface goes up or down.
