Overview
This manual page documents briefly the pbmtpg command. This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.
pbmtpg program generates a full-page ("us" or "A4") test pattern in pbmraw (magicnumber P4) format on stdout. The output may be fed directly into pbm2ppa in order to print a calibration pattern on your printer with commands such as:
pbmtpg | pbm2ppa > /dev/lp1 ( as root )
- or -
pbmtpg | lpr -d hp710 (as normal user, when magicfilter is installed)
Options
A summary of options are included below.

Generates a test-pattern for A4 pages. By default, the test-pattern is for US pages.
