## NAME

oscapd - OpenSCAP-daemon service

## SYNOPSIS

**oscapd** \[*-h*\] \[*-v*\] \[*--verbose*\]

## DESCRIPTION

**oscapd** is the central executable of OpenSCAP-daemon. When started it provides a dbus interface that other tools (such as oscapd-cli and atomic) can interact with.

In production environments it is not recommended to start the service directly, use **systemctl start oscapd** instead.

## GENERAL OPTIONS

- **-v, --version**

  Show version.

- **-h, --help**

  Help screen.

- **--verbose**

  Start in verbose mode.
