# ocf\_pacemaker\_pingd(7)

pingd resource agent

## NAME

ocf\_pacemaker\_pingd - pingd resource agent

## SYNOPSIS

\[**OCF\_RESKEY\_pidfile**=string\] \[**OCF\_RESKEY\_user**=string\] \[**OCF\_RESKEY\_dampen**=integer\] \[**OCF\_RESKEY\_set**=string\] \[**OCF\_RESKEY\_name**=string\] \[**OCF\_RESKEY\_section**=string\] \[**OCF\_RESKEY\_multiplier**=integer\] \[**OCF\_RESKEY\_host\_list**=string\] \[**OCF\_RESKEY\_interval**=integer\] \[**OCF\_RESKEY\_attempts**=integer\] \[**OCF\_RESKEY\_timeout**=integer\] \[**OCF\_RESKEY\_options**=string\]

**pingd** \[start \| stop \| monitor \| meta-data \| validate-all\]

## DESCRIPTION

This agent (ocf:pacemaker:pingd) is deprecated and broken, and has been replaced by the more reliable ocf:pacemaker:ping. It records (in the CIB) the current number of ping nodes (specified in the 'host\_list' parameter) a cluster node can connect to.

## SUPPORTED PARAMETERS

**OCF\_RESKEY\_pidfile** = string \[/pingd-\]

PID file

**OCF\_RESKEY\_user** = string \[root\]

**OCF\_RESKEY\_host\_list** = string \[\]

Host list

The list of ping nodes to count. Defaults to all configured ping nodes. Rarely needs to be specified.

**OCF\_RESKEY\_interval** = integer \[1\]

ping timeout in seconds

How long, in seconds, to wait before declaring a ping lost

**OCF\_RESKEY\_options** = string \[\]

Extra Options

A catch all for any other options that need to be passed to pingd.
