  Namespace identifier

  Length of the data transferred in this command in bytes

  Pointer to user address of the data buffer

  Length of metadata transferred in this command

  How long the kernel waits for the command to complete

  Optional field to return the result from the CQE dword 0

## DESCRIPTION

Parameterized form of **nvme\_submit\_admin\_passthru64**. This sets up and submits a *struct nvme\_passthru\_cmd64*.

Known values for *opcode* are defined in *enum nvme\_admin\_opcode*.

## RETURN

The nvme command status if a response was received (see *enum nvme\_status\_field*) or -1 with errno set otherwise.
