## NAME

nutscan\_new\_device - Create a new nutscan\_device\_t structure.

## SYNOPSIS

## DESCRIPTION

The **nutscan\_new\_device()** function allocates a new nutscan\_device\_type\_t structure.

## RETURN VALUE

The **nutscan\_new\_device()** function returns the newly allocated nutscan\_device\_type\_t structure.

## NOTES

Technically, the function is currently defined in *nutscan-device.h* file.
