## NAME

ne\_has\_support - determine feature support status

## SYNOPSIS

**int ne\_has\_support(int** *feature***);**

## DESCRIPTION

The **ne\_has\_support** function can be used to determine whether a particular optional feature, given by the feature code *feature*, is supported. The following feature codes are available:

**NE\_FEATURE\_SSL**

Indicates support for SSL/TLS

**NE\_FEATURE\_ZLIB**

Indicates support for compressed responses

**NE\_FEATURE\_IPV6**

Indicates support for IPv6

**NE\_FEATURE\_LFS**

Indicates support for large files

**NE\_FEATURE\_SOCKS**

Indicates support for SOCKSv5

**NE\_FEATURE\_TS\_SSL**

Indicates support for thread-safe SSL initialization — see [**ne\_sock\_init**(3)](/ne_sock_init/3.md)

**NE\_FEATURE\_GSSAPI**

Indicates support for Negotiate authentication via GSSAPI

**NE\_FEATURE\_LIBPXY**

Indicates support for libproxy (in [**ne\_session\_system\_proxy**(3)](/ne_session_system_proxy/3.md))

**NE\_FEATURE\_NTLM**

Indicates support for NTLM authentication via Libntlm

## RETURN VALUE

**ne\_has\_support** returns non-zero if the given feature is supported, or zero otherwise.

## HISTORY

The **NE\_FEATURE\_GSSAPI** and **NE\_FEATURE\_LIBPXY** constants are only available in neon 0.34.0 and newer.

The **NE\_FEATURE\_NTLM** is only available in neon 0.37.0 and newer.
