## NAME

ne\_buffer\_create, ne\_buffer\_ncreate - create a string buffer

## SYNOPSIS

**ne\_buffer \*ne\_buffer\_create(void);**

**ne\_buffer \*ne\_buffer\_ncreate(size\_t** *size***);**

## DESCRIPTION

**ne\_buffer\_create** creates a new buffer object, with an implementation-defined initial size. **ne\_buffer\_ncreate** creates an **ne\_buffer** where the minimum initial size is given in the *size* parameter. The buffer created will contain the empty string ("").

## RETURN VALUE

Both functions return a pointer to a new buffer object, and never NULL.
